2018 Train with the Cutters
Our Train with the Club program for 2018 will follow a very broad theme of “Eat Well, Play Well, Stay Well” theme.
The program uses the profile of the game and its players to communicate positive health and well being and influence kids to make positive lifestyle choices. It also aims to increase the profile and importance of physical activity within the community and promote the positive impact that Rugby League as a sport and its players can have on children and parents.
Partner clubs will be able to tailor the program to suit their individual club needs. Key messages include:
The EAT WELL message is used to express the need to eat a healthy variety of foods every day. This includes giving your body essential vitamins and nutrients, eating to allow the body to grow and repair, providing energy and brainpower and essential hydration.
PLAY WELL means being active and enjoying yourself at the same time. Exercising and playing sport as a means of keeping your heart, lungs, muscles and bones strong, lifting your energy levels and maintaining a healthy weight. Playing a team sport is also a great way to make friends.
STAY WELL means being happy, relaxed and comfortable with yourself and others. The message used is to STAY WELL you need to be respectful to yourself and others and using constructive ways to solve problems.

MONTH CLUB DATE CONTACT
4.30pm – 5.45pm
Under 9/10/11’s will have full access to Stadium Mackay field for training.
Under 9/10/11’s training session will finish with joining the Cutters for their warm up.
Each junior participant on the night will receive Mackay Cutters merchandise pack.
** There is the option to include a BBQ while watching the Cutters train. BBQ and gas provided by the Cutters with meat and drinks to be provided by your junior club. Please book this in prior to your training session.
